Jeff Stormo, the owner of Senior Care Authority of West Michigan, is a Certified Senior Advisor, a Certified Dementia Practitioner, and a Beyond Driving with Dignity professional. Jeff will help you and your family determine the best senior living solutions for your situation. He finds the necessary answers and information for making educated decisions and establishing sound plans, helping families and seniors navigate the complicated and often stressful conversations regarding senior living options. Jeff also aids families in maneuvering the complex and sensitive senior driving issue, helping seniors self-assess their driving abilities to determine whether they should retire from driving.

Jeff has lived in West Michigan for 30 years and has observed friends and family struggle with finding a good senior community for themselves or loved ones; he fully understands how overwhelming this process can be..

Jeff spends much of his time visiting and reviewing West Michigan’s senior communities—including assisted living, independent living, memory care, and skilled nursing facilities—to help his clients make the best possible decision for their loved ones. He meets one-on-one with families to assess their needs, accompanies them on visits to top-rated facilities, assists with negotiations and paperwork, and follows-up with families after a placement is made.

Jeff is married and has two children; he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and working in his yard.

Your Advisor will meet with you in person to discuss your options and then accompany you on visits to places that meet your criteria. We ensure that all your questions are answered, and assist with paperwork and negotiations. The hallmark of our service commitment is that we are by your side every step of the way.

We are paid a referral fee by the communities and care homes so there is no cost to you for our placement services. In the rare case where we are not contracted with a community, your Advisor will let you know at the outset and explain any fees that might be incurred, should you choose that location. You can expect total transparency from us and we respect your right to choose.

Company History

Senior Care Authority

Senior Care Authority® was founded in 2009 by Frank and Michele Samson of Sonoma, California. They opened a local placement agency and learned everything there was to know about finding the right care situation for an older adult needing help with activities of daily living. They came to the Senior Care space with successful business development skills in their past as well as personal family experience finding care solutions. The business took off, primarily due to their diligence, compassion, and commitment to helping families.
