The History of Senior Care Authority
With a passion for helping families and their aging loved ones, our founder and CEO, Frank Samson, identified the need for a concierge-style approach in the senior care industry to help families through challenging and stressful circumstances.
In 2009, he established the first Senior Care Authority location in Sonoma County, California.
Following the breakthrough success of that first location, and drawing on Frank’s 20 years of experience in the franchise industry building a premier global brand with 200+ owners, Senior Care Authority began franchising in 2014.
Today, we have franchise owners across the United States and a master franchise operating in Canada.

- We assist with paperwork and negotiations.
- In most markets, our placement services are usually provided to you at no cost. We receive a referral fee from the communities and care homes we partner with.
- In the rare instance where a community is not contracted with us, your Advisor will inform you upfront and clearly explain any fees that might be incurred should you choose that specific location.
- We are committed to total transparency and fully respect your right to choose.
