9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

Do Not Track (DNT) is a browser setting available in some Web browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, Apple’s Safari, Opera, and Coogle Chrome. The DNT setting allows users to signal their preference not to be tracked by websites. When you enable the DNT setting in your browser, it adds a signal to your browser’s header, informing other websites that you don’t want their tracking cookies. However, it’s essential to note that although DNT has been adopted by major browsers, it is not enforceable. Many websites choose not to honor it, even if users enable the setting. At this stage there is no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals. Our services do recognize some DNT signals, but we currently do not respond to DNT browser signals or other mechanisms that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. We are, however, ready to monitor our Services in a way that will be responsive to DNT signals in the future if a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow and we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy policy.

Since we are a California based business and California’s consumer privacy laws are the oldest and most mature, we have elected to structure this privacy policy that is consistent with these California laws.
